From 8 to 18 students take one hour classes taught in eadh style of dance. At this level of training
good technique, discipline and real artistry start to develop. The student can choose to stay with one style of dance
or take the Workshop Program providing training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and contemporary modern.
We are best known for producing outstanding all around dancers with a strong grounding in ballet, the basis
for all dance styles.
For 27 years the Workshop curriculum has produced the best trained, most creative, expressive dancers with
the highest caliber of technique and artistry. All our award winners and those students who have stayed with us till
high school graduation going on to dance professionally or continuing to dance for enjoyment in college and beyond, have been
through this program.
Each Workshop or one hour class is leveled from Grade 1 for beginners to Grade 7 for the most advanced dancers.
Due to our leveling of classes a student can start at any age, enjoy dance and in time reach their
full potential as a dancer.
All students in ballet classes may take part in the Winter ballet production. The entire studio may
perform in the June recital.
For those dancers who want more performing opportunities or the challenge of competition there is Art in
Motion our award winning dance company. Art in Motion has won top honors in ballet, modern and jazz from Dance Educators
of America, Dance Olympus and Dance Masters. They have performed at Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm,
Star Scene and the NoHo Festival. The company is for students 8 to 18.
